Our Shared Goal
Our shared goal (OSG) works with 3 grassroot organisations to improve young people’s awareness and knowledge of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) through sport. Co-funded with Comic Relief and Scottish Government, over 1000 in Per-Urban location of Mtandire. Project components include:
•Community festival:
An annual festival in the community to celebrate young people and their valued place in the community, the event works to build the confidence and a sense of belonging of the youth through sport, public speaking, mentoring and advocacy.
•Digital skills training:
Marginalised children learn about the SDGs and coding using the micro:bit and thinking creatively about digital solutions to problems in their communities. The training was in partnership with Institute of Imagination.
